1998年に釧路湿原国立公園の東側の一区画（62,718m2）を当協会の環境保全指定地としました。この地域に自然林を復元するとともに様々な野生生物がすめる環境（ビオトープ）づくりに取り組んでいます。

The society designated a lot (62,718m2) at the east side of the Kushiro Shitsugen National Park as the environment conservation area in 1998.  We restore natural trees in this area and create the environment (biotope) where the various wild life live in.
