春採湖は釧路市の中心部の湖で、ヒブナの生息地として国の天然記念物に指定され、多くの水鳥の生息地でもあります。水質浄化と周辺の森の復元を目指して、1995年から毎年広葉樹を植栽し、森づくりを進めています。

The Lake Harutori, located in center of Kushiro City is a habitat for water fowl and the scarlet crucian carp, a designated natural monument.   The society is making an appeal to the public to bring the water quality up, restore and preserve the surrounding hills and trees. At the same time, we have planted broad-leaved trees at the lake side in order to restore forest from 1995.
